What is Retina?
Retina is a crypto portfolio tracker for people whose money is spread across DeFi. It reads the EVM, Solana, Hyperliquid and Polymarket addresses you choose, resolves every position into one portfolio, keeps a dated history and answers questions about it in plain language.
Which chains does Retina track?
Retina tracks Ethereum and more than 40 other EVM networks, Solana, Hyperliquid and Polymarket. The EVM networks include Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, BNB Chain, Avalanche, HyperEVM, Monad, Sonic and Berachain. Bitcoin held on its own chain can be added as a manual holding.
Does Retina track Hyperliquid?
Yes. Retina reads Hyperliquid spot balances, perps account value and vault deposits through the EVM address you track, and shows a vault's lock-up on the Maturity Ladder.
Does Retina track Polymarket?
Yes. Retina shows your open Polymarket positions, cash, closed positions, activity and profit or loss over time, beside the rest of your portfolio.
Can I add holdings that are not in a wallet?
Yes. Add gold, silver, exchange cash or any other holding by hand, and it counts in the same total as your wallets.
Can Retina track a cold wallet or an address I cannot sign for?
Yes. Paste any public EVM or Solana address. Tracking is separate from sign-in, so you do not need the signing key.
Is a wallet I sign in with tracked automatically?
No. Wallet sign-in uses an off-chain login signature, and that wallet joins your portfolio only if you paste its address yourself.
Does Retina need a transaction or token approval?
No. Tracked addresses are read-only public data. Retina never asks for a contract call, gas payment, permit, delegation or token allowance.
Yield and earnings
What is Earned APY?
Earned APY is the yearly rate a position actually grew at over the last 30 days, measured from your own snapshots with deposits and withdrawals left out. Retina shows it beside the APY the protocol quotes today.
Why does Earned APY differ from the APY a protocol quotes?
A quoted APY is the rate a protocol pays right now, turned into a yearly figure. Over a month that rate moves, incentives start and stop, and some rewards may still be waiting to be claimed. Earned APY measures what the month actually paid your position.
What does the Earnings calendar show?
The Earnings calendar on the History page shows what your portfolio earned on every day, split by protocol and after borrowing costs. Weeks and months show the same earnings as bars.
How does Retina count borrowed money?
Borrowed amounts count as debt against your total, so your portfolio value is what you own minus what you owe. The Earnings calendar subtracts what your borrowing cost each day.
History and alerts
What is a snapshot?
A snapshot is a saved copy of your whole portfolio at one moment. Snapshots build your history, so you can see what changed from one snapshot to the next and open any past day as it was.
How often does Retina take snapshots?
Automatic snapshots run 1 or 2 times a day, depending on your plan, and every plan adds 1 manual snapshot a day. Retina keeps snapshots at least 1 hour apart and keeps up to 5,000 of them.
What alerts can Retina send?
Retina sends alerts by email, and on Telegram once you connect a chat. They cover automatic updates that finish, fail or wait for your review, and reminders before a position matures. You can turn off any of them.
What does the Maturity Ladder show?
The Maturity Ladder lines up every position with a maturity or unlock date, such as Pendle PTs and Hyperliquid vault lock-ups, so you can see what matures next. Retina can remind you up to twice before each date.
Ask Retina
What can I ask Ask Retina?
Ask about your own portfolio in plain language: what you earned last week, which day earned the most, which positions mature this month, how much sits in one protocol or how much ETH you hold.
Is Ask Retina private?
Private mode and Local mode send nothing to an AI service: Private mode answers with fixed rules, and Local mode runs a model on your device. Cloud mode is off until you turn it on. It handles harder wording by sending your question and the portfolio facts it needs to Google Gemini. In every mode, Retina calculates the numbers itself.
Privacy and security
How is my data protected?
Retina encrypts wallet identities, labels, settings, snapshots and other sensitive records with AES-256-GCM before storing them, and your account's sign-in protects access. The privacy policy covers what is collected and how to delete it.
Can Retina move my funds?
No. Retina reads public data only. It cannot start, approve or reverse a transaction, and it never asks for a seed phrase or private key.
Does Retina have a token?
No. Retina has no token and has never had one. Its only website is useretina.xyz, and anything else using the name is not Retina.
Plans and access
How much does Retina cost?
Focus is $10 a month or $99 a year for 1 address, Range is $25 a month or $250 a year for 5 addresses and Horizon is $99 a month or $750 a year for 50 addresses. The pricing page lists what each plan includes.
Can I try Retina before paying?
Yes. Preview any EVM or Solana address on the home page without an account.
When does Retina open to everyone?
Retina is in closed beta. Join the waitlist and you get an email when signups open.
Does Retina work on a phone?
Yes. Open Retina in your phone's browser and sign in. Every view, your saved snapshots and Ask Retina are there on every plan.
How is Retina different from DeBank, Zerion or CoinStats?
They show what is in a wallet. Retina shows a portfolio: EVM, Solana and Hyperliquid together, resolved DeFi positions, Polymarket, and manual holdings like gold or exchange cash, plus what each position earns per day, when it matures and your history. How Retina compares goes through each tracker.
