Terms of Service

Effective July 16, 2026

Retina is informational portfolio software. It does not hold funds, execute transactions, or provide financial, investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice.

1. Acceptance and eligibility

These terms govern your use of Retina at useretina.xyz. By accessing or using Retina, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into these terms. You may use Retina only where doing so is lawful.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, the security of your email, social, and wallet accounts, and all activity under your Retina account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

A sign-in identity is used only to authenticate or link an account under the flow presented to you. We do not merge accounts merely because they share a name, handle, wallet activity, or unverified email.

3. Wallets and custody

Retina is non-custodial. Retina does not hold private keys or funds and cannot initiate, approve, reverse, or recover blockchain transactions. A wallet-login signature proves control for sign-in only; it is not a transaction or authorization to move assets. A login wallet is not automatically treated as a tracked portfolio wallet.

You may track public addresses whether or not you control them, but you must not use Retina to misrepresent ownership, invade another person's privacy, or break the law.

4. Information, not advice

Retina provides estimates, summaries, market data, risk information, AI-assisted output, and other informational tools. Nothing in Retina is a recommendation, offer, solicitation, fiduciary service, or financial, investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice.

Digital assets, DeFi, prediction markets, and related products are risky. Data may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable. Verify important information independently and consult qualified advisers before acting. You remain solely responsible for your decisions, transactions, taxes, reporting, and losses.

5. User data and permissions

You retain ownership of data you submit. You give Retina a limited permission to host, process, copy, and transmit that data only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service and as described in the Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the right to provide the data and credentials you submit. Do not provide private keys, seed phrases, or credentials that a field does not specifically request.

6. Acceptable use

You may not misuse Retina, interfere with its operation, bypass access or rate limits, probe or exploit vulnerabilities, introduce malicious code, scrape the service at unreasonable volume, infringe rights, impersonate others, or use Retina for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.

7. Third-party services

Retina depends on blockchains, authentication providers, market and portfolio data sources, AI services, and other third parties. Their services and terms are separate from ours. We are not responsible for third-party availability, content, security, decisions, or changes.

Some links may be referral or affiliate links, which may benefit Retina without increasing your price. A link or displayed opportunity is not an endorsement or recommendation.

8. Retina property

Retina and its software, design, branding, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these terms, we give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service. No other rights are granted.

9. Availability and changes

Retina may be released as beta or experimental software. We may add, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features, plans, integrations, or the service. We may impose reasonable limits to protect users, providers, and costs. Where practical, we will give notice of material changes or discontinuation.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Retina or request deletion of your account. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, nonpayment, provider requirements, service protection, or a material breach of these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

11. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Retina is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Retina and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages, or for losses caused by market movements, transactions, user error, third parties, inaccurate data, or unavailable service. Our aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid Retina for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

12. General

If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a reorganization or transfer of Retina. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the agreement between you and Retina concerning the service.

We may update these terms by posting a revised version and effective date. If a material update applies to an existing account, we will provide additional notice where reasonably required.
