How much is your portfolio earning you per day?
If you can't answer that in under five seconds, you have the same problem we had. We manage over 50 wallets across EVM and Solana. We have yield farms on Pendle, Avantis, Exponent, and others. Polymarket trades. Physical gold. Locked positions with different maturity dates. And more.
For the last years our "portfolio tracker" was an Excel spreadsheet, simply because nothing else worked.
DeBank gives you a list of what's in your EVM wallet. Jupiter does the same for Solana only. Polymarket has a 'dashboard'. Your metals broker has a website from the 90s. And every yield protocol has its own page showing your position for that specific protocol.
None of these talk to each other. And none of them answer the questions you have:
- How much am I earning per day across all my farms?
- What percentage of my portfolio is locked vs liquid?
- Which positions mature when?
- What is my actual exposure to stablecoins versus ETH versus BTC versus alts?
- Am I concentrated in one protocol without realizing it?
These aren't complex questions, they're the basics of portfolio management. But to answer any of them today, you need to open 6 tabs, cross-reference 3 dashboards, update a spreadsheet, and hope you didn't miss anything (you probably did).
That is the workflow for thousands of active DeFi users right now. It's slow and fragile.
The popular portfolio tools are excellent at one thing: showing you what's in a specific wallet on specific chains.
We call that a wallet viewer, not an actual portfolio tracker:
- A wallet viewer tells you: "You have $4,500 of USDC on Aave."
- A portfolio tracker tells you: "You have $4,500 on Aave, it matures on April 30, you are earning 4.5% APY on it, it represents 1.4% of your total portfolio, and you have 3 other positions maturing in the same week. All while keeping track of the risks you take on and the rewards you can claim"
How Retina works
Retina pulls data from Zerion (for EVM), Helius, Jupiter, TopLedger, Vybe Network and Moralis (for Solana), Hyperliquid (for perps and staking), Polymarket (for prediction market positions), CoinGecko and GoldApi (for prices), Pendle and DefiLlama (for yield data), Diapleo (for risk scores), and DropsBot and Merkl (for airdrops and rewards).
It normalizes everything into a single proprietary data model where every position has a chain, a protocol, an asset class, a type, and a value.
What you see when you open Retina
The main Dashboard gives you the full picture in one screen. Total portfolio value, a personalized watchlist, economic asset allocation by asset class, locked versus liquid capital, chain distribution, top protocols, and upcoming maturities grouped by urgency.
Below that is the Yield Table. Every yield-bearing position across your entire portfolio, with its source APY pulled live from Pendle and DeFiLlama, and its daily income. You can finally answer the question "how much is my portfolio earning me per day".
The Polymarket page pulls live data for all your Polymarket wallets. Entry price, current price, shares, current P&L, days to expiry, win APR.
The Wallets page breaks down every wallet by chain, position count, value, and portfolio weight. The Protocols page does the same by protocol, and clicking into any protocol shows its individual positions, APY, total value, maturity dates, and historical performance.
The Maturity Ladder is the view that saved us the most money. Every time-locked position sorted into customizable buckets: expired, urgent, near-term, long-term, etc. Ever forgot to redeem or unstake a position? This page makes sure that won't happen again.
The Risk Scores page connects to Diapleo and scans your wallets against thousands of indexed protocols. You get a portfolio grade, sanctions check, concentration analysis, and a per-protocol risk breakdown across six dimensions.
The Rewards page scans DropsBot, Merkl, and Pendle for claimable airdrops and unclaimed rewards across all your wallets. If there is money waiting to be claimed, Retina finds it.
The History tab stores snapshots over time and gives you insight in changes over time, a full ledger of snapshots, and you can click into any past snapshot to see exactly what your portfolio looked like at that point, including the Polymarket state.
The Privacy Thesis
We are privacy maxis, so we did everything in our power to keep your portfolio yours. No wallet connecting. Tracked addresses are read-only public data, and Retina never asks for a contract call, a gas payment, a permit, a delegation or a token allowance. There is nowhere to enter a seed phrase or a private key.
Portfolio data is sensitive, and that is exactly why the sensitive parts never sit in the open. Wallet identities, labels, settings and snapshots are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they are stored.
Signing in is separate from what you track. You can sign in with an email link, Google, X, or an off-chain signature from an EVM or Solana wallet, and that identity never enters your watch list unless you paste it there yourself. Your history follows you: open Retina on your phone and your saved snapshots are already there.
What is next
The product works today. You can try it at useretina.xyz.
The next priority is further UX / UI improvements, deeper Solana DeFi coverage through reverse-engineering RPC data, and Telegram / E-Mail alerts for maturing positions.
Why Us?
We have a background in Information & Data Science (BSc & MSc at one of the most prestigious universities in Europe) and years of hands-on DeFi experience as hardcore farmers.
Despite that background, we found ourselves spending 12 hours a day behind a PC just to keep track of our positions, and were still making errors and missing maturities.
Retina is what comes into existence when you combine those two things.
Your entire portfolio. One clean view.
